Presently Six Sigma is most popular philosophy in any industry,but it is not applied properly or completely in any Business or Industry in India .If you have a chance to ask a Business Head or Plant Head (those who are used to say six sigma practicing company)in India about their CLR(Customer Line Return),then they will say within single digit PPM.Then immediately if you ask their disposal amount to Warranty claim for last year,they will respond some Rupees in Millions.Pls.look this irrelevant 2statements.Six Sigma in Hierarchy levels
Why Six Sigma With Lean?
Six Sigma may fail in organizations before we complete a full cycle of first 6sigma Project.We knew very well that,already we have many constraints in a Business flow or Manufacturing flow.So every day regular crisis can stop us or slow down us in 6sigma project or its implementation.We can't compromise on 6sigma due to crisis.Crisis is very less where we have less business.Crisis and pressure is high when we have more business.If we compromise on 6sigma in more business area,then we will loss more profit in present,loss some business in future.Meanwhile we should eliminate this crisis. Crisis is due to stoppages and delays in other word MUDAs(waste).To eliminate muda we should practice Lean Manufacturing

Lean Manufacturing is to Eliminate delays,rejections,excess inventory.Six sigma is to minimize the variation in process or service and to optimize.So we can use 6sigma as tool to win the identified mudas thru Lean.Simultaneously we should apply Lean and 6sigma in the name of LEAN SIGMA in organizations for better results and breakthrough implementation.
